- COMING SOON AT THIS URL: Spanish translation of the LINKS web site. Gracias for your patience!
- Access to information is a vital tool in strengthening communities. Before long, bilingual LINKS newsletters written by local youth will be available at various sites throughout the communities they cover, as well as on-line.
These newsletters will document students' work in real world classroom projects designed to empower kids to take the lead in improving our neighborhoods, our cities and our environment. The newsletters will contain information and resources to help families implement these activist strategies in their communities. Students in the bilingual program at Booker T. Washington JHS in Manhattan Valley will be working to create the first LINKS prototype.
- We know how frustrating "under construction" notices can be. So please tell us if you wish to be notified by e-mail when this page is active. Or bookmark the site and check back.
- To learn more about the exciting possibilities LINKS can offer your community, be sure to visit the English LINKS home page.
- If you are a student, teacher or concerned member of the community who wishes to become involved in creating a LINKS newsletter, or if you would like to offer support, including translation services, for a LINKS project, please contact us.
