LINKS is a new project which harnesses education and technology to promote family literacy and provide tools to strengthen communities. Before long, bilingual LINKS newsletters will be available at various sites throughout the communities they cover, as well as on-line. These newsletters will document students' work in real world classroom projects designed to empower kids to take the lead in improving our neighborhoods, our cities and our environment. They will also contain information and resources to help families implement these activist strategies in their communities.
